Taken in… good God, where was this? Sorry, all the cities we visited on the Saltimbanco tour start to blend together after a while. I think this was for the Champaign, IL show. Yeah, that sounds right. We were in one of the surrounding cities and I ended up snagging some photos on a sculpture/planter I found in the middle of a college campus. It was also ridiculously windy that day, so poor Doug had to keep on stopping his juggling in order to adjust the cape while I sat on the ground and yelled at him to suffer for my art.

*insert evil snickering here*

Rob Lok, one of the various performers I was on tour with for a while. This was a promo photo we took for him to use at an upcoming festival in China. It was actually one of the easiest shots I’ve ever done: he sat atop a pile of stacking chairs and we just used the light from the sunset; I didn’t even have to adjust the lighting at all with a flash.
